SUPPORTING CHANGE
ONE STEP
AT A TIME

At the Heart of Motivating Minds is a conversation about what really matters.

Motivating Minds is all about openness, connection, and the understanding that recovery is possible. By enhancing the motivation to change through coaching and therapy, we collaboratively develop a plan of action. By focusing on your strengths, abilities, and desired outcomes, we elicit change and guide the belief in one’s true potential.

ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Rebecca Dalton MSc MBACP APAP  – and I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, groups, and families in treatment.

My experience began with supporting 16-25-year-olds through to managing an addiction service in Oxfordshire. In 2020 I founded and now run a small thriving therapy practice.

I passionately believe that every individual deserves the right to reach their full potential. My aim is to reduce the stigma associated with depression, anxiety and subsequent dependency on drugs and alcohol; enabling a positive change in a person's wellbeing and mental health.

I ensure a person-centred and non-judgemental approach to therapy. I pride myself on being empathic, authentic, and pragmatic, understanding that a collaborative approach to recognising achievement is crucial.

I provide bespoke support for teenagers, adults, couples and families, individually or in a group setting. The aim is to find healthy and positive solutions for overcoming challenges and to support mental health awareness. I hold a Masters degree in Addiction Psychology and Counselling. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and an accredited member of Addiction Professionals.
