What is addiction and dependency?

How often do we consider that addiction or dependency is a normal response to a person's suffering and past trauma, repeated habits, and subsequent learning? So why the stigma and why the shame? Why the isolation and why the loneliness? We all need connection; we all need care, and we all need to be understood.

Addiction or unhealthy attachments are not choices that anyone would willingly make.
What is ADHD?

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects focus, impulse control, and energy regulation. While often diagnosed in childhood, it can persist into adulthood, influencing daily life, relationships, and work.

People with ADHD may experience challenges with time management, motivation, emotional regulation, and organisation. However, with the right support—such as therapy, coaching, and structured strategies—they can harness their strengths, including creativity, resilience, and problem-solving, to thrive in both their personal and professional lives.

How can I help?
Everyone’s journey is unique, which is why I offer integrated, evidence-based counselling and coaching tailored to individuals living with ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and dependency—as well as their loved ones who are directly affected.
